How to Read the Pinery Residences Balance Unit Chart
Unit numbers. Every unit number takes the form #level-stack. In #12-35, the 12 is the storey and the 35 is the stack, so it is the unit on the 12th storey of stack 35. Stacks are numbered 1 to 49 straight through the development rather than restarting at each block, so a stack number identifies one position on its own without needing the block beside it.
Which stacks sit in which block. Block 922 holds stacks 1 to 7. Block 924 holds stacks 8 to 13. Block 926 holds stacks 14 to 22. Block 928 holds stacks 23 to 31. Block 930 holds stacks 32 to 40. Block 932 holds stacks 41 to 49. Every block runs the same twelve residential levels, from level 3 to level 14.
Why the chart starts at level 3. Levels 1 and 2 hold no homes. The first storey is Pinery Mall and the access level to Tampines West MRT Station, and the second storey is the residential carpark and arrival level. The twelve rows on the chart are the twelve residential levels, and there is no missing level 1 or level 2 to look for.
What the letter G means. Every unit on level 3 carries a G after its type code, so stack 1 reads B1-G on that row and B1 on the eleven rows above it. It is the same layout. The G marks the ground-level home, which has a private enclosed space in place of a balcony.
What is not on the chart, because it does not exist. Beyond level 3 and its G suffix, the grid has no irregularities to interpret. Every stack runs the full height of its block, no residential level is given over to facilities, no stack stops short of level 14, and no unit spans two stacks. Every position on the grid is a real home, so shading is the only thing that varies from cell to cell.
Where to go next. Layouts and dimensions for each of the seventeen unit types are on the floor plan page. For outlook, the buyer’s guide sets out the four broad aspects the development is arranged into and what each of them looks out on. Aspect here is assigned by zone rather than published stack by stack, so a stack number on this chart does not by itself tell you which way that unit faces; the sales team can work a shortlist through against the stacking chart and the site plan.
